Zoombinis

Guide little blue creatures on an epic journey of fun and logic.
PC
"18 years ago, I took this game pretty seriously. The Zoombinis had to make it to a better life, and it was my responsibility to save them, no matter what absurd logic-based contrivances blocked our path. I'm sad to say some Zoombinis never made it, and were left waiting in the uncomfortable cells of treehouse campsites for a rescue that never arrived. Until today. I'm coming, guys. It's time to bring you home."

I bought Zoombinis for my daughter. I played this when I was a kid and thought it would be perfect for her. It teaches her to think outside the box and about different ways to process and learn.

It's very similar to the original! The redesign of the art is very good, but it maintains the charm of the original because of having mostly the same animation for the various creatures you meet along the way, as well as having the same voice acting. It has different difficulty modes, which is a great update too.

I had gotten this game years ago for my girls and now I am so pleased to find it available for my granddaughters. It gets progressively harder with each level but keeps the kids' attention with the quirky and cute characters. We home school and count this is a part of their math curriculum now as it is teaching them logic with fundamentals of math. An added bonus is that our ADHD kid has learned to concentrate better and be patient both with herself and the game. She will sit still long enough to take her Zoombinis through a whole trek from the ship to their new land because she wants to find out what new building she earns in Zoombiniville. Our kids are 6 and 8. The 6-year-old needs a little help but is eager to play the game too. Highly recommend.
