Game Description
In Platypus 2, take on the role of a fearless pilot, soaring through the skies of the fantastic world of Mungola. The peaceful people of this clay-molded landscape are once again under attack from the Collosatropolians, and it's up to you to save them. You have the choice of flying one of four different models of the legendary Platypus fighter, each with its own unique abilities and strengths. As you navigate through the levels, you'll collect power-ups and bonus stars to give your Platypus the extra boost you need to defeat your enemies.

In addition to the exciting single-player experience, Platypus 2 also offers a cooperative mode where you can team up with a friend to take on the Collosatropolians together. This mode adds a new level of strategy to the game, as you work together to overcome obstacles and defeat your foes. I fell in love with the original Platypus many years ago and only recently discovered that there was a sequel, which features the unique Claymation visuals, fast and exciting gameplay, and occasional silliness I enjoyed in the first. There are lots of options to control your gameplay, including difficulty levels and weapon types, making this game appealing for both casual and serious gamers. You will find plenty of weapon and point upgrades that float up while you are dispatching your enemies, and it is no easy feat to catch them; if you shoot the balloon instead of the box, you've lost it. I find the soundtrack a bit tedious after a while, but there is the option to play the game without it. All in all, this is a fun game to play!
