"I've always loved the Jane's Hotel series, playing all the time as a kid. Now I got to experience the whole package from the start, and it started off strong! It's so satisfying turning a 2-star inn into a 5-star resort single-handedly. Sure, the maid was there, too, but I still told her what to do. The music is nice, and the graphics are interesting. The game appears to use pre-rendered graphics for the characters, which I find uncommon in this genre of games, but not unwelcome! The characters look clean and their movements are smooth. Those with a keen eye will notice that not only does the hotel change with each star earned, but so does Jane's outfit, even on the menu screen. That’s a level of detail I can appreciate. The gameplay is solid and addicting."
