"Build-a-lot is a quick-paced game and just as fun as I remembered. It definitely becomes more difficult as you progress. I like being able to build different styles and models of houses as you go. It's also fun to be able to add new blueprints so you can use them in your towns. Sometimes you will hit a milestone and the mayor of the town will add another challenge that has to be completed before the time is gone. It keeps you on your toes!"

Game Description
Build-a-lot puts you in the shoes of a real estate mogul, with complete control over your town's housing market. As you construct, upgrade and sell houses for huge profits, you'll be able to travel to a variety of scenic towns and perform special tasks for their respective mayors. As an extra challenge, each mayor will present different goals that can be achieved by constructing particular buildings. From ice rinks to cinemas, players will use blue prints to create bigger and better neighborhoods while unlocking new parts of the town.

Build-a-lot is a unique combination of time management and strategy that provides both casual gamers and strategic thinkers with an entertaining experience. The variety of gameplay elements also gives players multiple opportunities for creative freedom — from setting their own budget targets to deciding which house types are most profitable — allowing them to enjoy the game at their own pace and style of play.

One of my favorite games. Reminds me a lot of my childhood and it wasn’t overly expensive so I am very pleased with the game. I will definitely buy another.

Great game! I had it on an old computer and just had to have it on my new one. It is appropriate for the whole family and lots of fun. There are other versions as well.

I have always liked this game and now I finally own it! Very happy with it. I am not crazy about the other Build-a-lot games but I definitely love the first one!
